Recruitment Fraud

Head of Compliance

Reporting to Senior Management and the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for all aspects of compliance planning, monitoring and remediation within the company.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform compliance reviews of internal policies and controls as well as AML/CFT Policy and Procedure reviews for new products and new business initiatives
  • Advise and update the Management on regulatory findings and propose actions to be taken to improve the internal controls of the company
  • Conduct or direct internal investigations into compliance issues as needed
  • Ensure that all regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated
  • Conduct compliance training and awareness as needed
  • Establish effective plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
  • Work with external auditors and prepare regulatory compliance reports

Requirements

  • Tertiary education with at least 3 – 5 years’ managerial experience in a Compliance role within the finance industry
  • Experience in handling banking regulations and MAS notices
  • Sound knowledge of AML/ CFT requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills which would enable you to work well with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

AML Team Lead (AVP) - Credit Documentation

Job Description

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the AML team, ensuring high performance, motivation, and professional development of team members
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of AML processes and procedure manual
  • Manage daily AML reviews and escalations, ensuring comprehensive analysis and decision-making
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather customer’s information to complete required AML reviews
  • Stay updated on changing AML regulations, industry trends, and best practices, and ensure the team is trained on relevant updates
  • Prepare and submit month-end reports to senior management as needed
  • Support the execution of internal AML audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented

Requirements

  • Tertiary education with at least 2 to 5 years’ experience in an AML operations role, preferably in a financial institution
  • Proven experience in leading and managing an AML team
  • Hands-on working familiarity with AML and CFT related matters especially with the implementation and operationalization of regulations, rules, policies and processes related to AML/CFT
  • A team player with demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands and priorities
  • Articulate and assertive with good interpersonal, analytical and writing skills
  • Good judgement, problem solving skills and be results/task oriented to ensure sound implementation of controls, compliance processes and procedures
  • High personal standards of integrity, ethics and commitment to fulfilling the objectives of the position

Application Developer - Information Technology

Job Description

  • Design and develop software solutions to address specific business needs or challenges, incl. code development using appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools with consideration of factors like scalability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness
  • Engage with stakeholders to analyse business requirements, perform documentation and schedule preparation and ensuring timely delivery and integration with required systems and applications using microservices and APIs
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting and fixing of software/applications to ensure their quality, performance and stability
  • Participate in code review, knowledge sharing and involve in periodic project meetings on progress and impediments in the software development
  • Prepare deployment procedures for promoting tested programs from UAT to Production environments
  • Provide training to end users and identify areas of improvement
  • Liaise with supplier and vendors for procurement of IT hardware, software and services

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in performing application development
  • Strong technical and analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET, etc.) with good knowledge of best practices and design principles
  • Experience in software development, version control, databases, testing and vendor management
  • Working knowledge of information security and database management like Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, etc.
  • Candidates with experiences in Financial and Banking Industries will be preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Candidates must possess positive attitude, ready to learn new skills and acquire knowledge required to support new applications
  • Experience with Finacle, Internet Banking and Corporate applications would be advantageous

  • Acquire and build a strong network of customers for auto loan products mainly block discounting, Floor Stocking and direct facilities
  • Develop new portfolio with an aim to achieve revenue and customer retention goals while increasing portfolio’s profitability through cross-selling and referral development
  • Achieve individual sales revenue targets
  • Analyse financial statements and structure credit facilities to ensure good credit quality
  • Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Minimally Diploma level
  • 1 to 3 years of proven track record in banking/ finance industry with relevant experience in a lending environment and working knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Preferably with an established network of business contacts and strong ability to source and generate leads independently

Job Description

We are looking for motivated individuals with the experience and/or aptitude to grow our customer base. You will be expected to:

  • Acquire and build a strong network of SME customers and boutique developers for loan products and credit facilities. For auto loan products, being familiar with Block Discounting, Floor Stock and Direct facilities would be advantageous
  • Develop new portfolios while increasing its profitability through cross-selling and referrals
  • Achieve individual sales revenue and loan targets
  • Analyse financial statements and structure credit facilities to ensure good credit quality
  • Possess strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Min Diploma level
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a lending environment and working knowledge of mortgage loans, hire purchase financing, receivables financing or other types of loans (e.g. property development, land & construction, invoice factoring, auto loans)
  • Preferably with an established network of business contacts especially in the SME sector or tie-up with loan/ mortgage brokers. Strong ability to source and generate leads independently
  • Good understanding of financial analysis is preferred
  • Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter and team player
