Recruitment Fraud

Compliance Fraud Risk Officer - Compliance

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our Compliance Function as an Assistant Vice President (AVP), Fraud Risk Management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting our firm’s fraud risk function, overseeing fraud detection, prevention, investigation, and response. This role requires both operational excellence and forward-looking capabilities to anticipate, manage, and mitigate emerging fraud risks in an increasingly digital financial landscape.

The AVP will collaborate closely with Compliance, Operations, Technology, Business and Internal Audit teams to strengthen the bank’s fraud resilience and ensure alignment with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  1. Fraud Risk Governance & Strategy:
    • Lead the finance company’s fraud risk management framework, policies, and procedures in line with MAS requirements, industry best practices, and internal standards.
    • Develop and implement strategies to proactively manage fraud threats, including cyber-enabled fraud, scams, mule accounts, and emerging typologies.
    • Drive continuous enhancement of fraud risk appetite, thresholds, and escalation protocols.
  2. Emerging Fraud Risk Management:
    • Monitor local and global fraud trends, regulatory updates, and industry developments to identify evolving threats.
    • Recommend and implement proactive measures (controls, training, monitoring rules) to mitigate new fraud typologies.
    • Support fraud risk scenario planning, stress testing, and fraud intelligence sharing with regulators and industry peers.
  3. Fraud Prevention, Detection & Investigation:
    • Oversee day-to-day fraud monitoring, investigations, and case management across banking products and channels.
    • Lead investigations into fraud incidents, working with internal stakeholders and external law enforcement/regulators as needed.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of fraud cases to MAS and other authorities, where required.
    • Involve in AFS system monitoring of potential alerts, prompt and proper follow-up, as well as rules / scenarios maintenance.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory:
    • Act as subject matter expert (SME) on fraud risks, advising senior management and business units.
    • Conduct fraud risk assessments for new products, services, and digital initiatives.
    • Build fraud awareness across the bank through training and engagement sessions.
    • Support project to enhance the AFS system.
  5. Team Leadership & Development:
    • Supervise and guide direct report of fraud analysts/investigators.
    • Foster a culture of vigilance, collaboration, and innovation in fraud risk management.
    • Support succession planning and skills development within the fraud team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in fraud risk management, investigations, or financial crime compliance within banking or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of MAS regulations, fraud risk guidelines, and AML/CFT standards.
  • Proven expertise in fraud detection, prevention, and investigation.
  • Familiarity with fraud analytics, case management systems, and transaction monitoring tools.
  • Ability to anticipate and manage emerging fraud risks (e.g., phishing, scams, mule accounts, synthetic ID fraud, digital channels).
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to engage senior management and regulators.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing small teams.
  • Proactive, resilient, and adaptable with strong ethical standards.
  • Growth mindset with passion for innovation in fraud risk management.
  • Strong sense of accountability and sound judgment under pressure.

Associate/Senior Associate - Branch

  • To assist the Senior Officers and Branch Manager in ensuring smooth flow of daily operations in branch

  • Assist in customers’ enquiries and ensure delivery of excellent customer service
  • Perform the role of Chief Cashier when required
  • Perform Teller’s duties when required

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma Holder
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in the Banking and Finance industry will be an advantage

AML Team Lead (AVP) - Credit Documentation

Job Description

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the AML team, ensuring high performance, motivation, and professional development of team members
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of AML processes and procedure manual
  • Manage daily AML reviews and escalations, ensuring comprehensive analysis and decision-making
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather customer’s information to complete required AML reviews
  • Stay updated on changing AML regulations, industry trends, and best practices, and ensure the team is trained on relevant updates
  • Prepare and submit month-end reports to senior management as needed
  • Support the execution of internal AML audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented

Requirements

  • Tertiary education with at least 2 to 5 years’ experience in an AML operations role, preferably in a financial institution
  • Proven experience in leading and managing an AML team
  • Hands-on working familiarity with AML and CFT related matters especially with the implementation and operationalization of regulations, rules, policies and processes related to AML/CFT
  • A team player with demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands and priorities
  • Articulate and assertive with good interpersonal, analytical and writing skills

Job Description

We are looking for motivated individuals with the experience and/or aptitude to grow our customer base. You will be expected to:

  • Acquire and build a strong network of SME customers and boutique developers for loan products and credit facilities. For auto loan products, being familiar with Block Discounting, Floor Stock and Direct facilities would be advantageous
  • Develop new portfolios while increasing its profitability through cross-selling and referrals
  • Achieve individual sales revenue and loan targets
  • Analyse financial statements and structure credit facilities to ensure good credit quality
  • Possess strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Min Diploma level
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a lending environment and working knowledge of mortgage loans, hire purchase financing, receivables financing or other types of loans (e.g. property development, land & construction, invoice factoring, auto loans)
  • Preferably with an established network of business contacts especially in the SME sector or tie-up with loan/ mortgage brokers. Strong ability to source and generate leads independently
  • Good understanding of financial analysis is preferred
