Recruitment Fraud

Compliance Officer - Compliance

We are looking for an experienced AML officer to join the AML team to support the company’s client on-boarding and ongoing monitoring activities and to ensure alignment with the company’s standards, policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. Client Onboarding & Monitoring
    • Assist with timely client onboarding and ongoing reviews, incorporating data-driven risk profiling.
    • Validate Source of Wealth and Source of Funds documentation for high-risk clients.
  2. Advisory & Support
    • Provide guidance to the first line of defence on documentation requirements for individual and non-individual clients.
    • Advise on AML/CFT-related matters and red flags identified by staff.
  3. Transaction Monitoring, Name Screening and Customer Risk Reviews
    • Ensure timely monitoring, investigation, and disposal of alerts generated by automated transaction monitoring (TM) and name screening systems.
    • Conduct annual and ad hoc reviews of TM alert scenarios, thresholds, and parameters using statistical and predictive analytics.
    • Liaise with internal teams on investigations and provide advisory on alerts flagged.
    • Perform AML/CFT/PF customer risk review
  4. Data Analytics & Reporting
    • Utilize data visualization tool to analyse large datasets, detect suspicious patterns, and optimize alert scenarios.
    • Prepare periodic management reports with trend analysis and actionable insights.
  5. System & Process Enhancement
    • Manage TM, name screening and customer risk assessment system enhancements, including UAT and fine-tuning of alert parameters.
    • Support automation initiatives to streamline AML/CFT/PF processes.
  6. Compliance & Regulatory
    • Report, investigate, document, and file STRs on suspicious transactions.
    • Conduct gap analysis on MAS Notices, Guidelines, and Circulars impacting AML/CFT/PF processes.
    • Handle queries from MAS, auditors, and other external parties.
  7. Quality Assurance & Training.
  8. Perform sample checks on alert disposal quality and recommend improvements.
  9. Provide training and guidance to junior compliance officers on alert handling and analytics best practices.
  10. Assume as covering officer for AML\CFT\PF Team Lead/Supervisor when required.
  11. Policy & Governance
    • Stay updated on emerging typologies and incorporate updates into AML/CFT/PF policies and procedures.
    • Conduct annual and ad hoc reviews of AML/CFT/PF policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A recognized university degree, tertiary education or relevant professional qualification in financial service.
  • 4-6 years’ experience working in a similar capacity.
  • Preferred certifications: CAMS, ICA, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of applicable Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Terrorist Financing and Proliferation Financing Laws, Rules and Regulations.
  • Experience in Source of Wealth assessment and documentation standards.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Attention to details and have an investigative, inquisitive and questioning nature.
  • Team player, proactive and able to work well independently.

Senior Associate - Internal Audit

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Internal Audit Team in reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, control and governance process for the company.
  • Conduct internal audits, operational functions and / or financial areas throughout the company effectively and report on results / findings.
  • During the planning of the audit, identifies and assesses risks, key controls and testing approach. Responsible for completing assigned sections of the audit in accordance with stated timeframes and Departmental Standards.
  • Applies analytical skills to review information, perform assessments of the audit results and on the adequacy of controls.
  • Demonstrates teamwork by responsively cooperating with the team members, sharing information and ideas, accepting constructive feedback, and accepting additional assignments when appropriate.

Requirements

  • A degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or related fields. Professional certifications (e.g. CFA, FRM, CIA) would be an advantage.
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in audit function, with credit risk, models or with direct experience as a practitioner in model development/validation will be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of model risk and regulatory requirements.
  • Good analytical, written & verbal communication, collaborative and presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of data analytics/programming/statistics would be an advantage.
  • Strong report writing skills.

Regulatory Compliance Officer - Compliance

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and detail-oriented Compliance Officer, who will assist to develop and drive action plans and strategies for the business, engaging both internal/external stakeholders to ensure that they are in full compliance with the company’s prescribed rules, procedures, policies and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking regulatory developments, supporting policy governance, maintaining regulatory risk assessments, and assisting in the execution of compliance assurance activities as well as the measures put in place to address the Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (“CFT”), and Proliferation Financing (“PF”).

Responsibilities

Regulatory intelligence and impact assessment

  • Monitor and track relevant regulatory updates and emerging risks.
  • Assist in impact analysis and communication of regulatory changes to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain a regulatory change tracker and coordinate with business units for timely action.

Policy and procedures governance

  • Assist in the periodic review and maintenance of compliance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure proper documentation, version control, and communication of policy updates.

Regulatory risk and control self-assessment (“RRCSA”)

  • Support the maintenance of the RRCSA, including periodic updates of risks, controls, and ratings.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement for control validations and risk reviews.

Compliance assurance and monitoring

  • Assist in the planning and execution of compliance assurance reviews across business units.
  • Document testing results, control effectiveness, and areas for improvement.
  • Follow through on agreed remediation plans.

Support AML/CFT/PF Initiatives

  • Assist in improving AML/CFT framework and governance for the business and to provide support in related projects.

Management reporting and record-keeping

  • Support the collation and preparation of compliance-related management information and dashboards.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and maintain records for audit and regulatory review purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business, or related field preferably with at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a compliance role or years’ relevant experience in a Big 4 advisory firm or the compliance function of a MAS-regulated financial institution.
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance, assurance, internal controls, or policy governance.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations (e.g., MAS Notices, Guidelines).
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks and assurance methodologies.

  • Acquire and build a strong network of customers for auto loan products mainly block discounting, Floor Stocking and direct facilities

  • Achieve individual sales revenue targets
  • Analyse financial statements and structure credit facilities to ensure good credit quality

Requirements

Job Description

We are looking for motivated individuals with the experience and/or aptitude to grow our customer base. You will be expected to:

  • Acquire and build a strong network of SME customers and boutique developers for loan products and credit facilities. For auto loan products, being familiar with Block Discounting, Floor Stock and Direct facilities would be advantageous
  • Develop new portfolios while increasing its profitability through cross-selling and referrals
  • Achieve individual sales revenue and loan targets

  • Possess strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Min Diploma level
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a lending environment and working knowledge of mortgage loans, hire purchase financing, receivables financing or other types of loans (e.g. property development, land & construction, invoice factoring, auto loans)
  • Preferably with an established network of business contacts especially in the SME sector or tie-up with loan/ mortgage brokers. Strong ability to source and generate leads independently
  • Good understanding of financial analysis is preferred
  • Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter and team player
